The Salem Hills Cross Country team competed on Friday at the Utah County Invitational that took place at the Lakeside Sport Park in Orem. It was a great course with high temperatures and fast times. Both boys and girls teams competed well and ran hard. As coaches, we are pleased with the efforts we are seeing from each of you each race. A big congratulations goes out to Matthew Chesnut for finishing 6th in his race (7th overall). For complete results click:

This next week will be a busy one again. Here's a brief run-down of what's going on:

Tuesday: Team pictures at 3:00 at the track. Please be on time and in your full uniform. Also, remember Tuesday is also your final chance to order our team t-shirt and jacket. Your parents are also welcome to order them as well, while supplies last!

Wednesday: We will be traveling to Juab High School in Nephi to race on Wednesday afternoon. The bus will be leaving at 2:30, so please be on time! All girls will race at 4:00 and all boys will race at 4:30!

Thursday: Practice as normal.

Friday: We are planning on doing a team dinner Friday evening before the football game for all who can/want to participate. We will have more details and a sign up sheet at practice throughout the week.

Saturday: We will be traveling to Heber Valley to race at Soldier Hollow--one of SALEM HILLS' favorite courses! More details, including race times and bus departure time will be posted shortly. This is an incredibly challenging and incredible course. We look forward to watching you all run it and further improve yourself!
